Fruit of the Spirit–Affirmations

Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

We’ve spent the last 10 posts learning about the 9 Fruits of Spirit and today I’m going to give you a gift that will help you internalize those gifts with a PDF of affirmations.

So, what are affirmations?

Affirmations are meditation sentences aimed to affect our conscious and subconscious mind. The words composing the affirmation bring up related mental images into our mind, which can inspire, energize and motivate us.

In Philippians 4:8, Paul gives us specific guidelines on what we are to think or meditate about.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.

Fruit is something that naturally grows from a living plant. The Fruits of the Spirit are characteristics which should naturally grow out of the operation of the Spirit of our life.

Fruits of the Spirit affirmations are based on biblical principles to inspire us to cultivate the Fruits of the Spirit in our daily lives. .
