God will not let you be tempted more than you can bear

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

How many times have you heard someone say, “God never gives you more than you can bear”Well, the truth is that, at times He may allow troubles to overwhelm us. However, if we keep our trust in Him we can overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

If you look closely at 1 Corinthians 10:13 you will notice the actual words say He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. If we hold tight to our loving Father’s hand, He will always guide us out of temptation. Isaiah 26:3 tells us that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in Him.

You may also have heard someone say, “God is tempting me.” I tell you, God does not tempt us, Satan tempts us. James tells us that God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. God is faithful to His children and assures us in Jeremiah that He only has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This doesn’t mean that God will never allow us to be tested, but He’ll never let us suffer any insufferable harm or any unbearable damage. He promises that His faithful Love will be with you and through His name your strength exalted! (Psalm 89:24)

I pray that you will find peace in God’s promise that when our situation is bleak, His strong, loving, and capable arms will be there to keep, protect and take care of us Remember, If God brings you to it, He’ll give you a way through it.

Are you going through some dark times? Turn to God and ask Him to help you. He will never fail you, He is steadfast in His love.
