Our Father who is in heaven,
Your name is holy. Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on the earth, as it is done in heaven.
Give us all we need each day.
And forgive us our sins, as we are to forgive those who do us wrong..
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one:
For Your’s is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Several months ago, I wrote a post about The Lord’s Prayer: a simple, familiar prayer given to us by Jesus. I called it the perfect example of how we should pray.
