What do you center your life around?

You are the center of my life by Dion

Love my father and mother
love my sister and my brothers
when the seasons have turned
You are the center of my life
of my life...Center Of My Life by Dion

Have you thought about how many people you impact with your live? (Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc.) Wouldn’t it be great if they could see God as the center of your life. Just imagine all of the things you could accomplish for Him, and how far you could spread His word.

To place God in the center means to listen to His voice and follow His guidance. To do this, we have to first do a little spring—summer, winter, or fall–cleaning. We need to get rid of the distractions that can take us away from hearing Him when He talks to us. (Side note: I’m not saying you will actually hear His voice, although you might; only that you’ll get a sense of what He wants you to know or do.) These distractions might be too many things on your to-do list, too many extra curricular activities, too many appointments, or too many group involvements.  Once we clean out the clutter, we can focus on God. We can then spend more time in worship, study, and prayer. When we do this, the results will be exceptional.

A popular praise and worship song says Nothing else matters, nothing in this world will do Jesus You’re the center, everything revolves around You. Jesus You, at the center of it all. The center of it all. If this is the true desire of our hearts, He will hold the most important role in your day.

What do you center your life around? There are so many things going on all of the time, that it is easy to get off track and put different things at the center of your lives. But what if you stop for a moment, and put God at the center of your lives. How much of an impact would you be then?
